Scoping Studies (as these activities are called) provide crucial insight into the challenges and realities of the clinical workflow. The study also highlights opportunities and risks; which form the basis of tailored benefits evaluation recommendations. While optional, Scoping Studies are encouraged and provide a great forum for familiarizing stakeholders with the impending change.
To maximize the benefits of an implementation, Strata Health can lead design activities with stakeholders, defining the minimum data set, matching criteria, and prioritization framework, etc. As with Scoping Studies, this is optional, but recommended.
